Joe Mills

Joe Mills has over 25 years of work experience in various sales and business development roles. Joe most recently worked as the European Business Development Director at General Index, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, Joe worked as a Senior Oil & Gas Sales professional at Wood Mackenzie.

Before joining General Index and Wood Mackenzie, Joe held the position of European Sales Director at ClipperData from 2018 to 2021. Joe was responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, achieving new business sales, and driving team development.

From 2011 to 2018, Joe worked as the Sales Director at Genscape, where they focused on new business, renewals, and product development in the power, oil, and gas industry. Joe was recognized as the European Salesperson of the Year in 2016.

Joe's earlier experience includes managerial roles at Thomson Reuters, where they managed high-performing sales teams and developed strategies for team management and optimization. Joe also worked as an Account Manager at Bloomberg, selling financial products to various clients, including investment banks and brokers. Prior to that, Joe gained experience as a stock broker and analyst at New Japan Securities and as a graduate trainee/junior broker at Cresvale.

Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated strong sales and business development skills, achieved notable sales results, and contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.

Joe Mills attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a BSc degree in Psychology with a First-class honors.
