Eric Quist

Eric Quist has worked in the tech industry for over 18 years. Eric began their career in 2002 as a Yield Engineer Co-op at Fairchild Semiconductor. In 2004, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Linux Networx and as a Software Engineer at Corda Technologies Inc. Eric then moved to Harman Music Group in 2006 as a Project Engineer. In 2008, they worked as an Electrical/Firmware Engineer at TA Instruments. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at IMSAR as Chief Architect, Data Science Engineer, and Embedded Hardware and Firmware Engineer. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Capella Space as Data Scientist Lead, Radar Electronics Lead, and SAR Radio Lead. Most recently, they worked at Rebellion Defense from 2021 to 2022 as a Technical Lead. Throughout their career, Eric has led research teams, designed a variety of radars, managed projects, and developed algorithms.

Eric Quist has completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2015, an MSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2010, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2004. Eric has also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Convolutional Neural Networks (October 2018), Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization (September 2017), Neural Networks and Deep Learning (September 2017), Structuring Machine Learning Projects (September 2017), and Machine Learning (August 2017).
