Victor Lobanov

Victor Lobanov has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Victor currently holds the position of VP, Clinical Informatics & Product Management at Generate Biomedicines since June 2023. From April 2022 to January 2023, they served as the SVP, Head of Computational Sciences at Ventus Therapeutics. Prior to these roles, Victor held various positions at Covance, starting as the Executive Director, Data Sciences from June 2013 to February 2017, followed by Vice President, Informatics Solution Development from March 2017 to April 2022. Before joining Covance, they worked at Johnson & Johnson, where they served as the Director, Informatics Center of Excellence from September 2009 to June 2013 and Director, Pharma R&D IT from November 2006 to September 2009, among other roles. Victor's career started at 3-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they were an Assistant Director from November 1996 to February 2003. Victor also gained research experience at the University of Florida as a Visiting Scholar & Postdoctoral Fellow in chemoinformatics from 1992 to 1996.

Victor Lobanov holds an M.S. degree in Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from the University of Tartu.
