Luisa Garcia-Soler

Luisa Garcia-Soler, PhD, currently serves as a Bilingual Educational Consultant at Generation Ready since December 2021. Previously, Luisa held multiple roles including Researcher and English Language Teacher with the Backstretch Employee Service Team of New York, focusing on ESL instruction for Hispanic ELLs. Luisa has extensive experience as a Bilingual Curriculum Specialist with Highmark Companies, providing literacy training and curriculum development for educational professionals. As Principal and ESOL Director in the School District of Philadelphia, Luisa managed diverse student populations and implemented effective educational programs. Additional leadership roles include serving as Principal and District Director of ESOL at Deer Park School District, and Assistant Principal at Deer Park UFSD. Academic qualifications include a PsD in School Psychology, a PhD in Education and English as a Second Language, and a PhD in Literacy Studies, along with other degrees in Elementary Education and Applied Linguistics.
