Santanu Bhattacharyya

Santanu Bhattacharyya has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Santanu began their career at Bytemobile, where they were a Director and Principal Engineer, playing a crucial role in the growth of the company. Santanu then moved on to Reconnex Inc as a Principal Engineer before joining SEVEN Networks as a Principal Software Engineer. Bhattacharyya then worked at McAfee as a Principal Engineer and later joined the New York Stock Exchange as a Senior Principal Software Engineer.

Santanu further expanded their skills at Skyhigh Networks as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and at E8 Security (acquired by VMware) as a Lead Software Engineer. After this, they joined VMware Workspace ONE as a Staff Engineer, where they designed and built machine-learning pipelines for a cybersecurity product. Santanu also worked at Stealth Mode as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed an ARM Cortex M4-based trigger pulse generator.

Most recently, Bhattacharyya worked at Genesis10 as a Lead Data Scientist, where they focused on model development and performance monitoring of AI models for a national bank. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various technologies and aspects of software development, including machine learning, embedded systems, cybersecurity, and data analysis.

Santanu Bhattacharyya holds a Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2019-2020, they obtained an Artificial Intelligence Professional Certificate from Stanford University School of Engineering, with a focus on NLP and Machine Learning. In addition to their degrees, Santanu has obtained several certifications, including XCS229i - Machine Learning, XCS224U - Natural Language Understanding, and XCS224N - Natural Language Processing with Deep Learning from Stanford Online. Santanu also earned a certification in Fundamentals of Digital Image and Video Processing from Coursera in December 2017.
