John Melki

John Melki has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John started their career in 1996 as the Proprietor and Sales Trainer at In Shape Health and Fitness Centre, where they worked until 2008. In 2000, they joined the Sydney Cancer Centre as a Scientist, and stayed there until 2003. From 2003 to 2016, they worked at Human Genetic Signatures as a Senior Principal Research Scientist. In 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Genetic Signatures, where they continue to work.

John Melki completed their Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Molecular Genetics at UNSW from 1991 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a PhD at the University of Sydney from 1995 to 1999, specializing in DNA Methylation in Leukemia.
