Maria Ekemohn

Maria Ekemohn is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and research. Currently serving as the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at Genovis since February 2017, Maria has previously held roles including Marketing Communications Specialist and Publications Writer at Uppsala University. Maria's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Experimental Psychiatry from Lund University, where research focused on the effects of electroconvulsive therapy on cognitive function. Additionally, Maria has experience in project management, scientific study design, data collection and analysis, as well as reporting outcomes from research projects. Academically, Maria has earned a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Lund University, complemented by a strong foundation in natural sciences from Växjö Fria Gymnasium.
