Fabian Bruckner

Fabian Bruckner is a System Engineer at Gentherm since November 2022, focusing on the development of new connection technologies for foil-based cell contacting systems using aluminum for electric vehicles. Prior to this role, Bruckner served as an Entwicklungsingenieur at Von Roll Automotive, where responsibilities included developing electric and thermal insulation materials from mica-composites and providing technical support to national and international OEMs. Bruckner's experience also includes a position as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., where the focus was on the development of thermoplastic Automated Fiber Placement processes. Earlier, Bruckner worked as a Prozessingenieur at Modis, optimizing production processes for carbon fiber paper components in fuel cell applications, and gained initial research experience as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at Fraunhofer IGCV. Education includes a Master of Science in Materials Science and a Bachelor of Science in Materialwissenschaften, both obtained from the University of Augsburg.
