Michael Eckert

Michael Eckert is a seasoned industrial engineer with a strong focus on continuous improvement and logistics. Currently serving as a Senior Industrial Engineer at GEODIS since May 2021, Michael has successfully led process automation projects and optimized warehouse operations using LEAN methodologies. Prior experience includes roles at Ingram Micro and New Standard Corporation, where Michael contributed to logistics engineering and project management, respectively. In a managerial capacity at Jeld-Wen, responsibilities included implementing LEAN strategies and overseeing production line efficiencies. Earlier experience includes engineering internships at PennDOT and The Hershey Company, where Michael honed skills in quality control and process optimization. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Penn State University.
