Ariel Pesante

Ariel "AP" Pesante currently serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations at Georgetown University since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as the Associate Athletics Director for Governance and Compliance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where responsibilities encompassed leadership in goal setting and budget planning, and as a member of the NCAA Division I Interpretations Committee, providing interpretations of legislation. Pesante has also held positions at Hofstra University, the University of Hartford, Manhattan College, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and Delaware State University, focusing on NCAA compliance and administrative support across various athletic programs. An alumnus of Georgetown University and Delaware State University, Pesante holds advanced degrees in Higher Education Administration and Sport Administration, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University.
