Erik Vermeer

Erik Vermeer has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Erik started their career at AND Identification as a Software Engineer in 1994 and later became a Software Architect. In 1999, they joined Bell ID as the General Product Manager and was responsible for the ANDiS product range. Erik also served as the Technical Director, leading the design, development, and project management of complex information systems. During their time at ING as a Senior Managing Consultant from 2010 to 2012, Erik provided expertise and guidance in their role. In 2011, they founded easybadge and worked as the Owner. Since 2011, they have been associated with Gerimedica, where they held several positions including Product Manager, Chief Technology Officer, and currently serves as the Head of R&D. Erik's expertise lies in DBC methodology, software design, project management, client communications, smart cards, IT security, cryptography, and leadership skills.

Erik Vermeer earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Utrecht University, completing their studies from 1987 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Comenius, where they completed their VWO degree from 1981 to 1987. The specific field of study for their VWO degree was not provided.
