Maria Andrea Barrantes

Maria Andrea Barrantes has extensive experience in learning and development, global HR project management, and change management. Maria Andrea is currently the Head of Learning and Development at GF Machining Solutions, where they are responsible for developing the learning strategy and implementing learning and development programs. Prior to this, they held various roles at Nestlé, including Global Learning & Development Manager at Nestle Business Services, Global Learning & Development Manager at Nestle Information Technology Center, and Global HR Project Manager at Nestle Business Excellence. At Nestlé, they led capability building initiatives, developed competencies and development paths, and implemented new processes and systems. Maria also worked at PwC as an HR Senior International Consultant, specializing in change management and SAP implementations. Maria Andrea began their career at Siemens as a Human Resources Business Analyst, where they designed and implemented performance management processes and led change management programs.

Maria Andrea Barrantes has a diverse education history. In 2010, they attended the London Business School and completed the Nestle Leadership Program, focusing on Organizational Leadership. In 1994, Maria pursued a Post Graduate degree in Organizational Change and Human Resources Management at the University of Buenos Aires. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1992, they obtained a University degree in Psychology from the same institution. Maria also has additional certifications, including "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" from LinkedIn and "Herman Brain Dominance Instrument" from Herman International Europe, both obtained in 2020.
