Mirko Schiavone

Mirko Schiavone has several years of experience in the field of data analytics and engineering. Mirko currently serves as the Lead Data Engineer at giffgaff, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Data Analytics at Patient Connect Limited from June 2019 to April 2020. Before that, they were the Lead Big Data Analytics at giffgaff from August 2018 to May 2019. Mirko also has experience as a Big Data Instrumentation and Experimentation Engineer at Pico from January 2016 to August 2018. Mirko began their career as a Research And Development Engineer at The Telecommunications Research Center Vienna (FTW) from May 2012 to October 2015, and also completed an internship in MSc Research Project at the same organization from July 2011 to March 2012.

Mirko Schiavone has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, which they obtained from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2006 to 2009. Mirko then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2017, they completed a Data Science Certificate program at General Assembly, specializing in Data Science and Machine Learning. Mirko Schiavone also holds several additional certifications in various fields.
