Muhammad Ahsan

Muhammad Ahsan has over 15 years of experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Muhammad currently works as a Lead Data Scientist for Eraneos, where they spearhead data engineering and MLOps initiatives for a German electricity transmission company. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at a leading telecommunications client and contributed to designing event-driven architectures and implementing MLOps efforts.

Muhammad also has experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, where they implemented end-to-end ML pipelines and led backend development for a machine-learning-based recommendation service. Muhammad has previously worked as a Lead Data Scientist for FREE NOW, where they developed machine learning systems for pricing products and provided technical leadership for data strategy formulation and execution.

Muhammad's experience also includes working as a Data Scientist for bd4travel, where they spearheaded machine learning initiatives and built recommendation systems for top online travel agencies in Europe. Muhammad has also worked as a Data Scientist for AVAST Software, applying machine learning expertise in marketing intelligence.

Earlier in their career, Muhammad worked as a Research Intern at Yahoo! in the domain of large social networks and operations research. Muhammad has also served as a Software Engineer at Techlogix, specializing in database programming and optimizations. Additionally, they worked as a Lab Instructor at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, delivering technical coaching to undergraduate students. Muhammad started their career as a Quality Assurance Officer at the Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan, managing training programs and event logistics.

Muhammad Ahsan has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Muhammad then pursued a Master's degree in Data Mining and Knowledge Management from multiple institutions, including Polytech Nantes, Université Lumière Lyon 2, and Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, such as the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I).
