Reeva's commitment to empowering young girls in STEM is truly commendable. Over the past four years, she has actively volunteered with various non-profit organizations that share her mission, making a significant impact in the field. She has served as a National Teen Advisory Member of Comptia's Techgirlz Intiative and held many roles in organizations such as Girls Who Code and Kode With Klossy. Currently, in her role as the Executive Director of Girl Genius, Reeva harnesses the power of the written word to inspire and educate. She has reached 460,000+ girls through social media, created magazine issues that have obtained an active readership of 15,000+ females, and delivered educational content, teaching 35,000+ girls globally. At Girl Genius, Reeva passionately leads a diverse and dedicated team of 200+ female changemakers, working towards reducing the gender gap in the STEM workforce. Reeva's impact reaches far and wide. She has expanded Girl Genius to 45 chapters across the world, and her dedication to inclusivity in STEM is evident in her organization of hackathons like Hackdemonium and Superposition VI, creating safe spaces for underrepresented genders to nurture their passion for STEM. As a co-organizer and hacker experience lead for Superposition VI, her engaging initiatives resulted in 500+ registrations and an impressive 90% return rate. Reeva has received various accolades for her stem advocacy and work, including being named a Top 5 Nominee at the National Women in Technology America Awards and being an International Finalist at the Diversity in Tech Awards.
