Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast serves nearly 6,000 girls in grades K through 12 with the help of nearly 5,000 adult volunteers in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.  Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of girls. Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, girls learn to Discover what they are capable of, Connect with the world around them and Take Action to make the world a better place. Girl Scouts offers girls the opportunities and experiences that they need to become successful leaders. The Girl Scouts rely on the adult volunteers who give their time and talents to make a difference in the lives of girls.
