Ali Samani began their work experience in 2016 as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Research Assistant at Women's College Hospital, where they organized the bio bank and filed it into the laboratory management system for Dr. Mohammad Akbari. In 2018, they became the First Year Representative for HOSA-Future Health Professionals, acting as the liaison between the first year HOSA students and the executive team. In 2019, Ali began working as a Private Tutor for EECS1520, as well as a Research Assistant at York University's Interpersonal Perception and Social Cognition Laboratory and Culture and Religion Lab. Ali also became the Executive Secretary for Multicultural Action Group for Orphans (MAGO), where they fostered communication between executives, scheduled board meetings, and organized charity events. In 2020, Ali worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Ali'smost recent role is a Data Analyst at GivingTuesday, starting in 2022.
Ali Samani is currently studying for a BSc (Honours) in Psychology at York University, which they started in 2018 and is expected to finish in 2022. In December 2021, they obtained five certifications from Coursera: Analyze Data to Answer Questions, Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions, Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere, Prepare Data for Exploration, and Process Data from Dirty to Clean.
