Daniel Heffernan

Daniel Heffernan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel is currently working as an Institutional Sales Director at Glassnode since 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at PitchBook Data, starting as a Sales Development Representative in 2017 and progressing to roles such as Business Development Associate, Business Development Executive, and Senior Business Development Manager. At PitchBook Data, they provided professionals in venture capital, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions with insights to support their decision-making processes. Before joining PitchBook Data, Daniel worked as an Account Manager at AFEX, a global payment and risk management solutions specialist, from 2016 to 2017. Daniel also has experience as a Performance Analyst at Shannon RFC from 2013 to 2014. Daniel pursued a Master of Science in Financial Services from the University of Limerick, where they completed coursework focused on derivative markets, research methods, global finance, financial analysis, and governance, among other subjects.

Daniel Heffernan completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Limerick, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Glenstal Abbey School for their high school education from 2003 to 2009. Daniel further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Financial Services from the University of Limerick, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they received certifications in Bloomberg Essentials, including Commodity, Equity, and Fixed Income, from Bloomberg LP in September 2014.
