Melanie Veloso

Melanie Veloso has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Melanie currently works as the Vice President of Operations at Global Benefits Group (GBG) since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Operations at GBG from May 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining GBG, Melanie worked at MSH Americas - International Health & Travel Insurance for six years. Melanie held the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer from May 2018 to May 2022, and prior to that, they worked as the Director of Assistance and Claims from June 2016 to May 2018.

Melanie's career started at Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2000, where they served as an Insurance Agent for over a year. Melanie then moved on to Morneau Sobeco in 2001, working as a Compensation Benefits Analyst.

In 2003, they joined Phase 4 Health, which was later acquired by McKesson Canada. Melanie worked there as a Team Lead and Pharmaceutical/Medical Case Manager from January 2003 to September 2004.

Melanie'searliest work experience dates back to 2004, when they joined Europ Assistance - Global Corporate Solutions. Melanie held various roles during their tenure, including Operational Supervisor - Case Management from August 2011 to June 2016, Corporate Trainer from January 2007 to August 2011, and Medical Case Manager from September 2004 to January 2007.

Throughout their career, Melanie has demonstrated strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and expertise in operations, case management, and client services.
