Justin Block

Justin Block has worked in a variety of roles since 1997. Justin began their career as a Trader/Head Assistant Trader at ALPART TRADING, and then moved on to become the Managing Director and Market Maker at DENALI TRADING. In 2006, they became a Lead Market Maker at SKTY II and also started working as an Independent Consultant. The following year, they took on the role of Senior Sales Consultant at Best Buy. In 2008, Justin worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Alumni Association at the University of Iowa, and then in 2009 they were an MBA Intern in Sales & Marketing at Spirit AeroSystems and a Graduate Assistant for the Study Abroad Office at the University of Iowa. In 2010, Justin joined Discover Financial Services, where they held a variety of roles including Manager of Network Data Products, Head of Mobile and Digital Products and Solutions, Manager of Emerging and Mobile Strategy, and Project Manager of Operational Risk. Finally, in 2019 Justin joined Global Primex LLC, where they held the roles of Chief Operating Officer, President, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Senior Vice President of North America.

Justin Block attended Middlebury College from 1993 to 1997, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a BA in Economics and Political Science. In 2008, they obtained an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business with a focus on Strategic Innovation. In 2009, they completed an MBA Exchange at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, studying Strategy, Innovation, and Finance.
