Prerit Chandra

Prerit Chandra has a strong background in technology and engineering, with experience in various leadership roles. Prerit currently serves as the Director of Cloud Engineering at G-P/Globalization Partners since February 2023. Previously, they held positions at Samsung Electronics, where they were a Director from February 2022 to February 2023, and a General Manager from March 2019 to March 2022, responsible for transforming the business and ensuring operational excellence in the Adtech and content engineering division. Before that, they worked at Samsung Research Institute as a DGM & group head from July 2017 to March 2019, managing server and cloud devops along with QA, NOC, front-end development, CI-CD, database and cloud infrastructure for Samsung smart TV. Prerit also gained experience at Barclays Investment Bank as the IAM QA & DevOps head from November 2014 to May 2017, where they led a team of over 300 people, ensured QA efficiency and deliverables, and guided the team in automation and load testing. Prerit further worked at Barclays Capital, where they held the role of Project Delivery Manager from October 2012 to November 2014 and was a Team Lead from February 2011 to October 2012, responsible for managing work, resources, and UAT with traders in the Money Market testing stream. Prerit's career began at Sterling Commerce as Principal QA Manager from December 2006 to December 2009, and earlier at Sterling Commerce an AT&T company as Principal Software Engineer, leading a team of 12 resources and being involved in manual and automation testing. Prerit also has experience from Aditi Technologies as SQA and Project Lead from August 2003 to December 2006, and from Mindteck as a Software Engineer from August 2001 to July 2003.

Prerit Chandra has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Prerit then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Christ University, Bangalore, from 2002 to 2004. Prior to their higher education, Prerit completed their high school education at Loyala School, where they obtained their class 10th degree from 1985 to 1995.

Additionally, Prerit has obtained a series of certifications. These include "Managing Your Well-Being as a Leader" and "Vision in Action: Leaders Live Case Studies" from LinkedIn in 2021. Prerit also obtained certifications in "Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts," "Continuous Integration: Tools," "Microservices: Security," "DevOps Foundations," "Learning Docker," and "Learning Jenkins" from LinkedIn in 2020. Furthermore, Prerit holds the certification of "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in 2020.
