Daniel Shaffer

Daniel Shaffer is a finance professional with significant experience in strategic finance and investment banking. Currently serving as the Strategic Finance Lead at Gorgias since April 2022, Daniel previously worked in strategic finance at Toast, Inc. from March 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, Daniel held positions at Goldman Sachs, first as an Investment Banking Associate from July 2019 to March 2021 and as a Summer Associate in 2018. Daniel's background also includes five years of service in the US Army in various leadership roles, including Brigade Operations Officer, Company Executive Officer, and Rifle Platoon Leader. Daniel earned an MBA in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
