Ken Finnegan

Ken Finnegan is an accomplished professional in innovation and technology, currently serving as Director of Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship at DCU Invent since April 2024. With extensive experience in various leadership roles, Ken has been a Board Member on the National Public Service Innovation Advisory Board since October 2021 and a Member of the Board of Advisors for RDI Hub since February 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at Tangent, Trinity's Ideas Workspace, and Director of Technology and Innovation at Harbour Innovation Campus. Ken's background also features significant contributions at IDA Ireland as Chief Technologist, alongside previous roles in management and product design at Dun & Bradstreet and XS Solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Strategic Management from Smurfit Business School and certifications in project management and business coaching.
