Jon Horford

Jon Horford is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in sports, education, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a lobbyist for Governmental Consultant Services, Inc. since January 2023, Horford also founded the Lansing Student Development Program, which provides valuable academic resources and skill training to Lansing School District students. Horford co-founded Trust Team Investments, offering rental properties, and Blueprint Athletes, an app designed to enhance athletic training. As a co-founder of Cristina Capron Fitness, Horford contributes to the development of a fitness app. With a background as a professional basketball player with teams such as the Grand Rapids Drive and Canton Charge, and collegiate experience at the University of Michigan and the University of Florida, Horford's education includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Tourism & Recreation Business Management from the University of Florida. Additionally, Horford is recognized as a Fellow in the Michigan Political Leadership Program at Michigan State University.
