Licai Huang

Licai Huang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2013, Huang completed an internship at Taiping General Insurance Co.,Ltd. In 2014, Huang worked as a Research Assistant at UC Irvine. In 2015, Huang interned as an Asset Appraisal Intern at Pan-China Assets Appraisal Co.,Ltd. In 2016, Huang worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Fred Hutch, followed by a role as a Statistical Research Associate at the same company from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2023, Huang worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 2022, Huang interned as a Biomedical Data Scientist Intern at PathAI. Currently, Huang is working as a Bioinformatics and Data Scientist at GRAIL, starting in 2023.

Licai Huang completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics at UC Irvine from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics at the University of Washington. Currently, Licai Huang is enrolled in the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biostatistics, with an expected completion date in 2023.
