Lucy Ward

Lucy Ward has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Lucy is currently working at Grainger PLC as the Head of Finance Business Partnering for Overheads since March 2023, and previously held the position of Head of Group Financial Reporting (interim) from March 2022 to April 2023. Prior to Grainger PLC, Lucy served as the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Sedbergh School UK from November 2016 to March 2022. Lucy also worked briefly as a Finance Manager at Argos in August 2016. Before that, they were the Financial Controller at TSA Limited from July 2014 to May 2016 and a Finance Manager at Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) from January 2014 to July 2014. Lucy's earlier work experiences include serving as the Head of Operations, Applications, and Logistics at ICAEW from December 2011 to December 2013, Treasurer at Oxon 2030s Walkers from 2011 to 2013, Financial Controller at St. Clare's, Oxford from May 2007 to December 2011, and Audit Manager at Grant Thornton LLP from August 1998 to May 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Financial Controller at The Blue Cross from May 2006 to October 2006.

Lucy Ward attended St Anne's High School in Wolsingham, UK from 1985 to 1993. After completing high school, they enrolled at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form Darlington from 1993 to 1995. Lucy then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Bournemouth University from 1995 to 1998, receiving a BA (Hons) in the field.
