Valentino Gallo

Valentino Gallo has a strong background in information technology and management. Valentino started their career in 2005 as the Chief Communications Officer at Costa Crociere, where they oversaw IT staff, provided technical support, managed incidents, and maintained communication aboard. Valentino then worked as an IT Manager at Oceania Cruises from 2009 to 2011, where they performed microcomputer technician tasks, handled server maintenance, and managed help-desk and telecommunications.

In 2011, Gallo joined Abengoa as a Service Desk Manager and Global IT Service Manager. Valentino was responsible for providing technical support to over 15,000 users worldwide, managing system incidents and problems, and ensuring quality service.

From 2014 to 2016, Gallo served as the IT Operations and Services Manager at ILBOC - Iberian Lube Base Oils Company S.A., overseeing IT operations and services.

Valentino then joined Banco Sabadell in 2016 as the Global IT Area Manager, responsible for architecture, release management, digital platform, operations, and services.

From 2018 to 2020, Gallo worked as the IT Director at Grifols, focusing on architecture, innovation, and infrastructure.

From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Vice President of Information Technology at ING, leading infrastructure, CIO office, and digital platform.

Currently, Gallo holds the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Gransolar Group, starting in 2023.

Valentino Gallo completed their undergraduate education from 2014 to 2018 at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., where they earned a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Valentino also holds a Technical Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi. In terms of certifications, Valentino has obtained various qualifications, including TOGAF® Certification Program Level 1 & 2 from EXIN in 2020, LEAN IT from APMG International in 2019, and several ITIL certifications from EXIN. Valentino also holds certifications in project management (PRINCE2® - Project Management), safety (Certified Safety Professional), and first aid (First Aid Certification), among others. Valentino's educational background suggests a strong focus on the fields of business administration, information technology, and related subjects.
