Declan Hughes

Declan Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Declan most recently served as the Director of European Business Development for Gray, a global service provider specializing in engineering, design, construction, and manufacturing. Prior to this, Declan worked at Callaghan Engineering Ltd. as the Director of Projects. Additionally, they held the position of Business Development Director at John Sisk & Son Ltd., where they developed and implemented business development and marketing strategies. Earlier in their career, Declan worked at Jacobs Engineering in various roles, including Business Development Director, Project Controls Department Manager, Intel - Construction/Project Manager, and Project Engineer.

Declan Hughes has a strong educational background. Declan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended St. Jarlath's College in Tuam from 1979 to 1984. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from University College Dublin, completing it from 1995 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Declan Hughes also holds certifications as a BREEAM Assessor from Build Energy and as a Qualified Principal Designer (PSDP) from the Health and Safety Authority.
