Vivek Ramasamy

Vivek Ramasamy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Vivek is currently a Product Manager at Greenhouse Software since May 2022.

Prior to this, Vivek worked at Community Brands from July 2018 to May 2022, starting as a Product Manager and later taking on the role of Senior Product Manager. In this position, they managed a portfolio of products, delivering web-based and mobile app products to B2B and B2C markets, focusing on creating exceptional customer experiences.

From March 2017 to July 2018, Vivek served as a Business Analyst at Commitpoint Inc. SBA 8(a) Certified. Vivek worked in the Product Management team, delivering web-based products for private school enrollment needs. Vivek also took on the role of Associate Product Manager, assisting with product backlog and prioritization.

Prior to this, Vivek held the position of Business Analyst at Senior Systems, Inc. from August 2015 to February 2017. Vivek worked closely with the product management team, gathering requirements, creating user stories, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to understand customer insights.

Vivek started their career as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from August 2013 to May 2015. Here, they worked with professors in the entrepreneurship department to segment customers in developing countries. Vivek successfully built and launched a mobile app to manage cash transactions.

Vivek also gained valuable experience as an Intern in the Product Department at Boyd Gaming in summer 2014. Vivek assisted the team in developing the B-Connect CRM solution and conducted product feature monitoring and quality testing for a successful launch.

Vivek'searliest experience was as a Systems Engineer at Infosys from June 2011 to June 2013. Vivek worked on the Smartchat messenger chat application for client AT&T. Vivek collaborated with engineers in the product solutions team, programming software code in the MVC framework using Java and Oracle 10g database.

Vivek Ramasamy obtained a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Vivek attended the university from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Vivek also obtained certifications in Competitive and Market Analysis for Product Managers from LinkedIn in July 2019, and Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy in February 2018.
