Violet Baker

Violet Baker has extensive work experience in the food industry. Violet currently holds the position of Vice President of Research, Development and Technology at Greenleaf Foods since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Research, Development and Technology at Greenleaf Foods from March 2020 to September 2020.

Before joining Greenleaf Foods, Violet worked at Maple Leaf Foods Inc for over a decade. Violet'sroles at Maple Leaf Foods include Director of Product Development from September 2017 to March 2020, Product Development Technical Manager from May 2013 to September 2017, Product Developer and Co-op Program Manager from January 2012 to May 2013, Product Developer from March 2011 to January 2012, and Associate Product Developer from May 2008 to March 2011.

Violet also gained early experience in the food industry during their time at Kraft Foods Group as a Food Technologist Co-op from May 2005 to August 2005. Violet later continued their co-op experience as a Food Technologist Co-op at Maple Leaf Foods Inc from September 2006 to August 2007.

Violet Baker attended the University of Guelph from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Food Science Co-op.
