Lead Engineer (capex) at Griffith Foods

David Sharpe has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. David started their career as a Multi-Skilled Engineering Apprentice at Boots Retail International in 1993, before moving on to become a Maintenance Technician at the same company from 1997 to 1999. David then worked as a Robotics Support Engineer at Ericsson from 1999 to 2001.

In 2001, David joined Nestle as a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician for a brief period of time before transitioning to become a Senior Maintenance Technician from 2003 to 2005.

David'scareer then took a shift towards project management, with roles such as Automation/MES/I.T Specialist from 2005 to 2008 and Systems/Project Development Engineer from 2008 to 2012, where they worked on the installation and development of automation systems and technologies.

From 2012 to 2015, David held the position of Engineering Manager at Nestle, where they played a key role in a major 3-year CAPEX project for a new Freeze-dried coffee factory. David was responsible for designing control systems, managing budgets, recruiting and training a team, and overseeing project deployment.

Following this, David served as an Engineering Project Manager at Nestle Waters from 2018 to 2021, where they managed various projects and led a team.

Currently, they are working as a Lead Engineer (CAPEX) at Griffith Foods, starting in 2021.

David Sharpe attended Broxtowe from 1993 to 1998, where they earned an HNC degree in Mechatronics. David also attended Swanwick Hall, although the specific dates and degrees obtained are not provided.
