Thomas Verrooten

Thomas Verrooten is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the food industry, currently serving as General Manager and Managing Director for Continental Europe at Griffith Foods since March 2019, overseeing P&L responsibilities for production sites in Belgium and Spain as well as multiple R&D and Culinary centers across Europe. In addition to this role, Thomas co-owns Brain Brewery - Authentic Meeting Venue and served as a Board Member at Friedewald Confectionary until August 2023. Prior experience includes various leadership positions at Barry Callebaut, where responsibilities encompassed business development, sales, and operational integration for chocolate products across Europe. Thomas holds an Executive Master Class in Corporate Finance from Vlerick Business School and a Master's degree in Economics from Ghent University.
