Colleen Brown

Colleen Brown is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in cell line development and protein expression. Currently serving as Principal Scientist and Group Lead at Grifols since July 2019, Colleen oversees the R&D cell culture group and is responsible for cell line development and expression. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Scientist Group Lead at Grifols, Senior Research Scientist at Pfizer, and Research Scientist at Rinat Neuroscience-Pfizer, where Colleen focused on protein expression and purification. An earlier career involved significant contributions at Advanced Cell Technology, developing over 140 human embryonic progenitor cell lines, and at Bayer, where Colleen developed stable transgenic cell lines for therapeutic protein production. Colleen's educational background includes studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
