Bryden O'Gallagher, MSc, has been employed in a variety of roles since 2018. Bryden began their career as a Molecular Biology Researcher at Queen's University, where they discovered novel properties and cellular functions of a phosphatase enzyme. During this role, they employed numerous biochemical and genetic techniques and their research culminated in a first-author publication in the Journal of Experimental Botany. Bryden also held roles as a Teaching Assistant and a Biochemistry Researcher at Queen's University. In the latter role, they performed the purification and biochemical characterization of a secreted protein phosphatase enzyme, and developed a novel protocol for scaling up the growth of hydroponically-cultivated Arabidopsis. Theirwork lead to novel discoveries and a publication in Plant, Cell & Environment. In 2021, Bryden began working as a Research Associate at GRO Biosciences.
Bryden O'Gallagher has a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Queen's University, which they completed in 2021. Bryden also completed a Bachelor of Science Honours - BScH in Biology, General from Queen's University in 2018.
