David George

Chief Financial Officer at GuideCX

David George is the current Chief Financial Officer at GuideCX. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Finance at Sorenson Communications from October 2014 to January 2021. George also held the position of Vice President of Finance at EcoScraps, Inc. from April 2013 to September 2014, and Corporate Controller at Skullcandy Inc. from January 2010 to April 2013.

George has extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. David was responsible for the accounting function at Skullcandy, overseeing 3 divisional controllers and 6 accounts receivable clerks. During their time with the company, sales growth increased by 150% ($118M - $300M), due in part to 2 acquisitions and the formation of various international entities. George was also integral in the drafting of the Form S-1 for the company's IPO in July 2011.

In addition to their work with Skullcandy, George has also assisted in establishing a $50M line of credit and oversaw compliance reporting at EcoScraps, Inc. David has implemented the ADP payroll platform and processed or reviewed multi-state payroll for 300+ employees at both Skullcandy and EcoScraps. George has also managed the company's insurance policies, including property and casualty, Directors and Officers, and general liability.

George is a highly experienced financial professional with a proven track record of success in various industries. David is currently using their skills to help GuideCX grow and prosper.

David George has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Information Systems from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting from Utah State University.

They are on a team with Harris Clarke - Chief Operations Officer, Todd White - Co-founder & VP of Sales, and Alex Nelson - Chief Technical Officer. Their manager is Peter Ord, Founder & CEO.
