Head Chef at Hacienda Encantada

Chef Covarrubias has extensive experience in the culinary industry. Chef began their career in 2011 as a Chef at Clarum 101 and then worked as a Sous Chef at Hotel El Ganzo Los Cabos in 2012. Chef continued to advance their career by becoming a Head Chef at Marina fiesta cabo san Lucas in 2014 and later at Hacienda Encantada in 2015. In 2016, they joined Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. as a Senior Sous Chef. Chef Covarrubias then worked as an Executive Chef at Bracero cocina from 2017 to 2019 and at La matera restaurante from 2018 to 2019. Chef'smost recent position is as an Executive Chef at BigRedF Restaurant Group since August 2019.

Chef Covarrubias enrolled at the Universidad del Valle de México in 2009 to pursue a degree in Licenciatura en Administración with a focus on Cocina y Gastronomía. As of now, the end year of the education is unknown.
