Sales Director ANZ at Hallmark Cards

Chris Sampson has over 20 years of work experience in various sales and leadership roles. Chris started their career at Reebok as a Trade Marketing Assistant in 1995 before moving on to Mars, where they worked as a Territory Manager and later as a Category Executive. Chris then joined SCA Hygiene Australasia as a Marketing Manager and later as a National Category Development Manager. In 2005, Chris joined 20th Century Fox as a National Category Development Manager, where they established the category management function. Chris then worked at Fonterra in various roles, including National Business Manager and Sales Capability Manager. Chris also worked at SABMiller as a Sales Director, leading the Coles Customer Team. Chris then joined Carman's Fine Foods as General Manager Sales before their current role as Sales Director ANZ at Hallmark Cards. Throughout their career, Chris has been responsible for managing large sales teams, driving business improvement initiatives, and leading major change projects. Chris has extensive experience in account management, customer marketing, revenue management, and sales operations.

Chris Sampson attended Lancaster University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Their field of study included Marketing, Management, Economics, and Human Resources. In 1999-2000, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Grocery Distribution at the Institute of Grocery Distribution. Additionally, in 2022, they completed the Foundations of Directorship course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2023, they will be obtaining a C Licence in Football from Football Australia. Prior to their university education, they studied Business Studies, IT, and French at The King's School from 1987 to 1993.
