Nikki Finley

Nikki Finley, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of business and education. Nikki currently serves as the Virginia Work-Based Learning Specialist at the Virginia Department of Education since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hampton University, where they held multiple roles, including Business Administration Professor, MBA Graduate Coordinator, and School of Business Fellowship Program Director. Nikki also worked at Newport News Public Schools as a Marketing Cooperative Coordinator, New Teacher Mentor, and Virtual Enterprise Lead Teacher. Additionally, they served as a Dual Enrollment Instructor at Thomas Nelson Community College.

Nikki Finley, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Business Administration with a Focus in Marketing from Hampton University (2010-2016). Prior to that, they completed a Master of Education - MEd in Marketing Education with an Endorsement in Vocational Special Needs from Old Dominion University (1997-1999). Nikki also obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University (1992-1996).
