Thai Nguyen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 with Abigail Kirsch as a Maitre D and Catering Coordinator. In 2008, they worked as a Food and Beverage Captain at Hotel Roger Williams. From 2011 to 2013, Thai worked as a Food And Beverage Supervisor at DoubleTree by Hilton. They then moved on to Chomp Chomp, where they held the role of Kitchen Manager from 2013 to 2016. Since 2016, Thai has been working at Hana Group, initially as a Sr Production Supervisor, then as a Food Safety Specialist, and currently as the Director of Manufacturing Operations.
Thai Nguyen has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Queens College. They have also obtained several certifications, including Implementing SQF Code for Manufacturing Edition 9 from SCS Global Services in 2020, Certified Food Safety HACCP Manager (CFSHM) from the National Environmental Health Association in 2020, and FSPCA from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in 2019. Additionally, Thai Nguyen has certifications such as OSHA from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in 2018, GMP & Allergen Certification from Paster Training, Inc. in 2018, and Seafood HACCP from the Association of Food and Drug Officials in 2017. They also have obtained ServSafe Manager certification from the National Restaurant Association in March 2017 and ServSafe Food Handler certification from the same institution in September 2016. Furthermore, Thai Nguyen has a Food Handler License from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in 2014 and ServSafe Alcohol certification from the National Restaurant Association in September 2012.
