Deepak Kumar

Deepak Kumar is currently the VP of Data at Handshake. Prior to this, they were with LinkedIn for over 9 years, where they most recently served as the Senior Director of Engineering - Artificial Intelligence. In this role, they led Artificial Intelligence initiatives for multiple marketplaces, including ads, jobs, and learning. Deepak was also instrumental in powering the launch of new LinkedIn products, such as LinkedIn Learning and P4P jobs.

Deepak has also been involved in several open-source projects, most notably DuaLip and Lambda Learner. Deepak has also authored or co-authored a number of research papers on topics such as LAWN, marketplace design, and incremental learning.

Deepak Kumar earned their PhD in Statistical Models for Automotive Demand and Product Development from Northwestern University.
