Thomas Rooney

Thomas Rooney is a Senior Business Development Manager at Harland & Wolff since October 2023. Prior to this, Thomas worked at Sonardyne International Ltd from June 2014 to October 2023 as a Technical Sales Manager - Defence, delivering advanced underwater technology to the defence sector. Thomas also held various roles at Royal Navy from September 1988 to June 2014, including Platform Manager, Engineer, Training Support Manager, Divisional Training Officer, and Weapon Engineer Sea Riding Officer. Thomas has completed education at University of Plymouth and HMS Collingwood, with degrees in Education, Engineering Management, and Weapons Engineering.
