Marijn Kooy

Marijn Kooy is a skilled audio engineer with a diverse background in both academic and professional environments. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Audio Features at HARMAN International since August 2024, Marijn previously worked at Silentium Ltd. as an Acoustics and Audio Product Delivery Engineer and at Müller-BBM Active Sound Technology GmbH as an Application Engineer. An early career included roles at Sennheiser as an R&D staff member and intern, as well as various positions in audio production and management at SnipAudio and SnipRecords. Marijn’s educational credentials include a Master of Science in Music Acoustics from the Erich Thienhaus Institut and a Bachelor's degree in Tonmeister from the Koninklijk Conservatorium, supplemented by a pre-master in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
