Ria Dey is currently engaged in multiple roles that emphasize expertise in aerospace and engineering. As part of the NASA L'SPACE Program, Ria participates in proposal writing and evaluation since September 2024. Concurrently, Ria serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and is actively involved in the Space Generation Advisory Council as a Space Safety and Sustainability Project Member. Additional affiliations include being a Student Affiliate at the Royal Aeronautical Society, a Student Member of AIAA, and a Research Intern at Black Hole Space Tech. Ria also represents as a Delegate for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations and holds the position of President at Quriosity Quiz Club. As a Co-Founder of Planeteers, Ria contributes to groundbreaking initiatives focusing on environmental sustainability through the development of underwater autonomous vehicles. Academically, Ria is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins, following a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Amity University and a certificate in Data Science Principles from Harvard Business School Online.
