McIb Destiny Augustine-Theophilus

Destiny Augustine-Theophilus, MCIB has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry. Destiny currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at HASAL Microfinance Bank Ltd since February 2020. Prior to this role, Destiny held various positions at the same bank, including Head of Credit Risk Management and Internal Control Officer from 2018 to 2019 and 2016 to 2018, respectively. Destiny also served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2015 and as the Financial Controller from 2009 to 2012. Destiny began their career at the Central Bank of Nigeria as an Office Personal Assistant from 2008 to 2009.

Destiny Augustine-Theophilus, MCIB, holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance, which was attained from the University of Wolverhampton from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Ambrose Alli University, graduating between 2002 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Destiny Augustine-Theophilus has also obtained the MCIB certification from The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) in April 2018.
