Katja Ash has been working in the field of human resources for over 20 years. Katja started their career as an HR generalist with a local law firm. Katja then transitioned to a role as an HR business partner with a global consulting firm. In this role, they provided HR support to clients in a variety of industries. After a few years in this role, they were promoted to vice president of human resources and operations for a national law firm. In this role, they were responsible for the HR strategy and operations for the firm. After a few years in this role, they transitioned to their current role as VP of people and culture at Hays. In this role, they are responsible for the global people and culture strategy for the company.

Katja Ash, CHRL has a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a minor in Urban Geography from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Katja also has a Leadership Communications Program from Harvard Extension School. Katja is also a Certified Human Resources Professional from the Human Resources Professionals Association and has a Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute. Katja is also The Athena Program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Katja also has certification from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association as a Certified Human Recouces Leader (CHRL) and certification from the Human Resources Professionals Association as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

They work with David Penn - Head of Global Projects, People & Culture, Katarina Brygiewicz - Business Manager HR & Procurement, and Tatiana Braz Garbossa - Director, HR and Leadership Development, Latin America. Katja Ash, CHRL reports to Debi Wolfe, Chief People Officer.
