Servaes Tholen

Servaes Tholen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Servaes started their career in 1995 as a Consultant at McKinsey&Company, where they eventually became an Engagement Manager. Servaes then worked at Novamedia bv as a Lottery Manager, responsible for managing one of the company's charity lotteries. At eBay, Servaes held multiple roles, including VP & CFO of eBay North America and Senior Director of Finance and Strategy. Servaes served as the Chief Financial Officer at Elance and later at Elance-oDesk (now Upwork), overseeing finance, accounting, HR, analytics, and data science. Servaes also worked as the CFO for Thumbtack, responsible for finance, accounting, operations, and customer support. Servaes was the CFO of Calm and Grove Collaborative, where they played a key role in their mission-driven initiatives. Currently, Servaes holds the position of CFO at Headway, where they are involved in building an accessible mental health system.

Servaes Tholen has an education history that includes an MBA degree focused on Finance from INSEAD, which they obtained from 1996 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued a MSc degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, which they completed between 1989 and 1995.
