Sonia Ponzo

Sonia Ponzo's work experience begins in 2014 as a Researcher at Cooperativa Sociale "Centro Puzzle," where they focused on neuropsychological research and clinical activities for patients with acquired brain injury. Sonia then moved on to various roles at University College London, including Honorary Research Assistant and Honorary Lecturer at the Institute of Health Informatics. In 2019, they joined BioBeats as a Research Scientist and later became the Lead Research Scientist. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Lead Research Scientist at Huma, promoting scientific publications and designing experimental studies. In 2021, they became the Head of Clinical Research at Thrive: Mental Wellbeing. In 2022, they joined Flo Health Inc. as a Scientific Advisor and later became the Director of Science. In 2023, they held positions at Hale as a Scientific Advisor and at Healios as the VP of Science.

From 2008 to 2011, they attended Università degli Studi di Torino and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychological sciences and techniques.

Between 2011 and 2013, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in the Science of the mind at Università degli Studi di Torino.

Subsequently, Sonia Ponzo enrolled at the University of Hertfordshire from 2015 to 2019. Sonia completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology.

Furthermore, they received additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained the IELTS (Academic) certification from the British Council. Additionally, in July 2017, they became an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
