Cherryl T. C. has a diverse work experience in various roles related to content strategy, narrative development, and communications.

Cherryl T. is currently serving as the Director of Narrative Strategy at Health Resources in Action, where they lead the Health and Racial Equity Cluster and works on challenging narratives, shifting power, and transforming culture. Cherryl T. also co-leads the Communications and Narrative team and is responsible for supervising, mentoring, and supporting the professional development of staff.

Prior to their current position, Cherryl was the Chief Content Strategist at Lede & Draft Content Specialists, LLC. In this role, they helped companies, brands, agencies, and leaders develop narrative strategies for core content, content teams, communications plans, user experience design, and brand/cultural content assets.

Cherryl T. worked as the Managing Editor of Content Marketing at NAMI, where they applied master storytelling techniques to reach different target audiences. Cherryl T. also oversaw the tone and voice of the brand and supervised the day-to-day operations of multiple print, online, and digital publications and platforms.

Before that, they served as a Narrative Strategist for internal communications at Didlake, where they created stories that drove employee engagement, showcased the organizational mission, and highlighted the organizational culture.

Cherryl's work experience also includes roles as a Content Developer, Project Manager, Corporate Trainer, Journalist, and Small Publisher. In these positions, they edited and revised resume content for displaced workers, educated clients about best practices for readability and personal branding, and provided guidance on career changes and job shifts.

Cherryl T. C. holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Poetry & Playwriting from Goddard College. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English from Bennett College. In addition to their formal education, Cherryl has also obtained certifications from The Big Talk Academy and is a member of the Interaction Design Foundation.
