Ilana Raskind, PhD, MSc

Senior Research Scientist at Health Resources in Action

Ilana Raskind, PhD, MSc has a diverse range of work experience. In 2006, they served as a Program Coordinator at the Kokrobitey Institute. In 2008, they briefly worked as a Human Resources Administrator at the International Rescue Committee. From 2010 to 2013, they were the National Helpline Coordinator at the Medicare Rights Center. In 2019, they joined Stanford University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where they remained until 2021. During this time, they conducted research in their field of expertise. In 2021, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Huntsman Cancer Institute before joining Health Resources in Action as a Senior Research Scientist.

Ilana Raskind has an extensive education history. From 2013 to 2019, they attended Emory University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Master's Degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in Development Studies. Ilana'sundergraduate studies were completed from 2002 to 2006 at Vassar College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Religion.
