Herilyana Torres Fortier

Herilyana Torres Fortier has a diverse work experience in analytics and methodologies, as well as data analysis in the healthcare industry. Herilyana began their career at Medical Card Systems Inc. in 2005 as a Utilization/Data Analyst, where they developed routine reports and ad hoc reporting for various indicators and populations. Herilyana then became a Data Analytics Manager, focusing on monitoring and routine reporting for clinical, quality, and compliance areas. In 2011, they took on the role of Business Intelligence Lead/Manager, where they scheduled and maintained the development of routine reports and provided support in the development of monitoring tools.

In 2012, they joined HealthHelp as a Senior Data Analyst/Senior Clinical Data Analyst, handling ad hoc reporting and investigational analysis for client requests. Herilyana also produced client-specific reports and savings reports for commercial markets. Herilyana later became the Clinical Data Analysis Manager, where they worked on prospective analysis, developed metrics for program performance, and improved reporting for clients. Herilyana then served as the Reporting & Methodologies Development Manager before their current role as the Programs Analytics & Methodologies Director.

Herilyana Torres Fortier completed their education at the University of Puerto Rico - Medical Sciences Campus from 2001 to 2005, obtaining a Masters in Science degree in Epidemiology. Prior to that, they attended the University of Puerto Rico - Humacao from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained the Professional, Health Insurance Advanced Studies (PHIAS) certification from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) in February 2012.
